Association for Remotely Operated Underwater Technology
The Association for Remotely Operated Underwater Technology (FFU) is a national unifying association for individual members, businesses and various organisations working with remotely operated underwater technology.
The association works for a viable environment for underwater technology in Norway.
We have an agreement on cooperation with FFU that includes topics such as profiling and sharing of expertise. The purpose of the agreement is to coordinate activities in FFU and NCE Subsea that are closely related.
Since the establishment in 2006, NCE Subsea has conducted a number of activities related to remotely operated underwater technology.
Among other things, we have in collaboration with partners developed, financed and installed a subsea simulator at Bergen Science Centre, VilVite.
